Belgian Growth Fund II invests EUR 15 million in Strada Partners II

Belgian Growth Fund II is honored to announce that it has made a capital commitment of EUR 15 million to the second fund of Strada Partners, the growth-oriented investment firm from Antwerp (Belgium). It just announced the first and final closing of Strada Partners II at its EUR 350 million hard cap.

Since the launch of its first fund, Strada Partners has built a concentrated portfolio of nine platform companies across software, tech-enabled services, business services and healthcare — each anchored in durable markets with clear paths to pan-European expansion. The companies exemplify Strada’s conviction in backing founder and management-led businesses with real scale potential. The new fund will reinforce and accelerate that approach with follow-on capital, strategic M&A support and operational growth initiatives.

Building the next chapter

“Closing fund II at its hard cap is a powerful validation of our strategy; not just by numbers, but by the quality of the partnerships we’re building”, says Matthias Vandepitte, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Strada Partners. “We are focused on supporting founders and leadership teams as they scale beyond borders with conviction and resilience.” Bart Wouters, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, adds: “We’ve expanded not only our capital base but our operational capacity. From a concentrated portfolio of nine forward-leaning companies to a diverse and deeply experienced team, this fund empowers us to accelerate growth with purpose.”

Looking ahead

With the successful closing of Fund II, Strada Partners enters its next phase with increased scale and the same conviction-driven mindset. The firm will continue to invest behind its current platforms, supporting management teams with strategic guidance, operational resources and capital for selective acquisitions, while pursuing new opportunities that meet its high bar for quality and growth potential. Strada remains committed to building a focused portfolio of pan-European leaders, deploying capital thoughtfully and taking a long-term view on value creation.

6 funds

Including this transaction, BGF II has welcomed since its launch end 2024 six funds in its portfolio for the total sum of EUR 95 million, including Bencis VII, Notion Capital Opportunities III, Fortino Capital PE III and Apheon VI.
